Amorphic Soil Sensors are designed for seamless deployment across wide-ranging farmland or isolated scientific study areas-enabling robust, real-time soil moisture monitoring in places where conventional infrastructure doesn't reach.
With each sensor node capable of hosting up to four capacitive moisture probes within a 3-metre radius, you gain accurate, localized readings of soil hydration from multiple depths or surface areas around each node. Whether you're monitoring soil health for agricultural productivity or gathering ecological data in remote research locations, Amorphic Soil Sensors deliver the insight you need.
No need for expensive data cabling or cellular contracts. Each Amorphic node communicates via a license-free RF (radio frequency) link directly to a central gateway located up to 5 kilometres away. As long as the gateway has WiFi connectivity, your entire network of sensors can report back to a central server or dashboard in real time.
